Kalrashukla Classes began as an institute back in 1993, with two classrooms in Vile Parle, Mumbai. The institute was founded by Prof. M. H. Kalra (Mathematics), and Prof. R. D. Shukla (Physics). With a focus on excellence, they with other faculty members teaching Chemistry and Biology, coached students for engineering and medical entrance exams

The institute produced toppers at the entrances within the first couple of years, and Kalrashukla Classes rapidly came to be identified as the institute of excellence for competitive examinations in the field of science. Over the decades, Kalrashukla Classes has had state toppers and board toppers at these tough exams, backed by a legacy of sincere hard work and disciplined effort – from teachers and students alike.
